Awareness Seminar by Women Grievance Cell at RKDF University An “Awareness seminar” for all the female faculties and female students was held at RKDF University to create awareness about the rights, duties and responsibilities as a female being for the development of a healthy society and building their self confidence. In the seminar lectures were delivered by different experts of relevant fields. The Vice Chancellor of the University Dr Ashish Dongre appreciated the efforts of Women Grievance Cell and also apprised the gathering about the traditional and present status of women in the society and also how to build a gender biased free society. A vibrating and energizing lecture was delivered by Mrs Veena Kurre the director of the University who emphasized on women empowerment issues and gave her lecture with all facts and figures and insisted the girls to be more brave and daring and utilize their rights and duties in a correct and positive manner.

A well defined objectives and functions of Women Grievance Cell was presented by Dr Neerja Mallick, Chairperson of the cell. Mrs Ashvini Joshi, member WGC enlightened the audience about the goals and the procedure to file any complaint in a confidential manner. A pleasant and emotional environment was generated by a melodious song entitled “Beti” by Mrs Balprada Shrivastava.
